Vegan Whipped Cream
This is such a super easy and super delicious dairy free cream alternative. My 3 year old daughter absolutely loves it, we make it a lot, it’s a regular in our fridge.
3 ingredients, dairy free, vegan friendly, refined sugar free and it’s quick and easy to make!
- Can of Coconut Milk
- Maple Syrup
- Vanilla Extract
1) Place a can of Coconut Milk in the fridge overnight. The next morning, open it up and scoop out the firm coconut milk that has risen to the top, leaving the water behind. You don’t want any of the coconut water in the cream mixture as it will thin it out. Use the remaining coconut water in a smoothie or just drink it up.
2) Next add a good squirt of Maple Syrup and approx 1/4 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract to the Coconut Milk.
3) Using a hand mixer, blend on high for several minutes or until the mixture has thickened.
4) Store in the fridge, lasts for up to a week but unlikely it will be left alone for that long as it’s so yummy.
Absolutely delicious on fresh fruit, granola, pancakes or a sneaky spoonful by itself. Enjoy 🙂
