Beer Soap – yes, made with real beer, Coopers Pale Ale beer in fact!
The hops in beer have wonderful skin softening amino acids therefore making beer soap soothing and nourishing for the skin.
It is made with a unique blend of organic oils and butters. As like all SEED skincare soaps, this soap will not strip the skin of its natural oils. It is moisturising with a rich, creamy lather. A long lasting bar, making it excellent value for money.
Correct storage between uses is necessary when using natural handmade soap. To ensure product longevity and freshness please leave soap on a soap dish where it is able to breathe between uses.
Making beer soap is a very involved process, its actually takes many hours, even days to just complete a batch of beer soap. The alcohol in the beer needs to evaporate from the liquid and to do this the beer needs to be boiled for a few hours and then left to cool. Then the soap making process can begin, measuring, blending and pouring into moulds. Then we wait a couple of days to leave the soap to set and then after demoulding the freshly cut soap is left on the rack for a further 4-6 weeks to cure.
Cold Process soap making is an art form, a traditional process that requires care, patience and attention.
